Website Monitoring Dictionary

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and means a data format (based on XML) used by publishers (webmasters, bloggers) to enable contents in the format of so called feed.

These feeds consist of titles and excerpts of articles and can be imported and displayed by special software - RSS aggregators.

Website unavailability alerts can also be displayed as a RSS feed and imported into a RSS aggregator
